Same Colorado county as Aurora... just 8 miles from Columbine...

Maybe it's something in the water.

It's terrible that people were injured. :sadangel:

The end result will be terrible emotions, higher prices for ammo, and some unlucky schmuck trying to take my weapons.

It's probably going to be a case of mental health issues...parents had guns in the house...knew the kid had issues...didn't take the steps to make sure said kid couldn't access their firearms.

Parents need to start paying attention to their kids. Generally speaking, crazy doesn't just happen overnight. There are usually warning signs. I mean, I know when my kid is simply in a bad mood. I'd certainly recognize if she was bat sh!t crazy. You can't tell me these parents don't know anything.

You can love your children, but still recognize that they're not wired right. Even if one doesn't have the means to get proper mental health help for their kid(s), one can certainly keep their firearms where the kid(s) can't access them.

Pisses me off that a few irresponsible gun owners make it more difficult for the rest of us.
