Agreed, I could pick up a decent rust free example for about 7 grand or less to modify, 17 grand would buy me a MUCH nicer and cooler hot rod.

OP, I appreciate your posting about this car. However, the car isn't for me for several reasons. First, it isn't a 1976. It's an early 1974, if not a 73 or earlier. The give-away is the lack of bumper overrides (black rubber cushions) and the turn signals mounted above the front bumper. In 1975 and 1976 they were moved to beneath the front bumper.

Though it's a popular color combo, I am not a British Racing Green fan. Finally, the price is much too sttep for an unfinished car that already has mods.
