Once a week. Monday seems as good of a day as any, primarily because I got a new guitar this afternoon. Not BRAND new mind you, used. But like new.


This weeks entry is an OLD one. (Snake will probably get it within two note, although he doesn't play NTT so we're safe .)

Again, the sound is horrible. Sounds great here however.

That's a dot neck Gibson ES335. I believe that means that although it's a hollow bodied guitar, it's got a solid piece of wood running through the body. This gives it more sustain and makes it one of the most versatile guitars around. Equally at home playing Jimmy Page or George Benson. Nice guitar.

RE: the guitar. Very nice. But it seemed too obvious that it was an ES334. I thought maybe it was a Japanese knock off or something. Doesn't everyone know that guitar?

Wish I had one.

BTW, Little Walter nailed a huge hit with that song in the late 50s I believe.
