View Full Version : Australian police find 328 guns...
...and 4.2 tons of ammo at farm. Saw this on another site with the comment "registration leads to confiscation" . Glad I live in NH! I can't imagine what 4.2 tons of ammo looks like, though :omg:

Aren't two of those (the two break-barrel rifles, not the shotty in the lower right) pellet guns?

"Our fear is that these firearms are high-caliber firearms that if they got into the wrong hands they could certainly be used in a nasty way."
They must be the "high-caliber" ones

Some nice vintage weapons there. Shame to destroy them.:(
We just had a pistols for pixels police incentive here. Turn in your gun and they give you a digital camera, no questions or charges for illegal weapons. I almost cried when I saw all the antiques turned in, pistols and black powder long guns. All get destroyed...

I work for a company that operates foundries around the world. We have a plant just outside of Saint Louis MO. A couple of years ago the STL police came to deliver a load of guns to be melted down. I wasn't out in the plant when they were delivered but some coworkers that were said there were a lot of antique and high end guns that were worth some serious money. Everything went into the furnace. STL could have sold them to legitimate buyers and taken the money to use in other enforecement programs but that would have not been the PC thing to do:slap:

Was the entire smelting process proctored by the PD? If not, someone should have considered liberating some of the antique guns.

Multiple LEOs at every stage of the process. Guns were never out of their sight. Actually our safety personnel had to tell them to back off several times because they were putting themselves in hazordous places

Pellet guns are on the banned list too.
Know what else is? Slingshots. :yesnod: But you can make your own slingshot but it's only legal for you to own it if you are 17 and under.

I said that wrong and was not very clear..
Unregistered saws are illegal, and as stupid as it sounds.. it is because of all the illegal logging I suspect.
Even to cut 1 tree you are supposed to get a permit from DENR in advance for approval, but because of the current situation our area does not apply at this time.

I once saw a gun liberate itself from a gun safe, load 1 round into the clip, turn off its own safety, and shoot a man in cold blood.
Guns kill...
