and I want it to last until December 31st. Man, I can't stand the holidays with all the drama and bullshit. It happens every year without fail.
Hell, I'm half tempted to leave town for the weekend and just go some place else that ain't here. :banghead:

Tell them to STFU. Life is to short to be surrounded by pain.

That never works. We have other members of the family over and it's like this every year. I'm not dealing with this shit. Looks like I'll take the blame for ruining T-day this year.... laaaaater.

For someone who doesn't like drama, you've got a lot of it. Often.

You're welcome here.
No parade. No family. No turkey.
Just peace, quiet, WWII action movies of the 50's, 60's and 70's, and a 2 ½ inch thick filet mignon for the evening meal.

The main reason I sat this one out this year. My mother has made the holiday's an absolute hell...every single year. 82, and she's still a royal bitch.
I got with Phillip, who would have been my brother-in-law if Lori had lived, and he helped me work some of my fences. We had a great time.

Yeah. You know, I've been looking back at things and realized the happiest I had been in a long time was when I lived alone in TX after Chapsaltuck moved out. It was just pure silence at the house (excluding the TV) and me. I never really cared for having house guests though I kept the place clean to include the dishes :yesnod: but it was peaceful. Pure silent peace.

I know what you mean. Years ago I lived alone in a nice apartment for nine years. No regrets.

The only thing I hated about the house was mowing the grass. I had a steep hill and driveway so pretty much everyone was charging north of $60.00 to do my lawn. NFW. Even the messcans wouldn't touch it.
