Yeah, I ruined it for the family. Oh well. She always made good pies for desert after Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas dinner. About 15 years ago (I was maybe 18/19 years old), she called and asked what kind of pie everyone would like her to make. Usually, the one with the most votes wins, but that year, she was intrigued by my request for Dingle Berry Pie.

So, she set out looking for a recipe because I told her that I had no idea how to make it. She called friends for the recipe, she tried looking on the internet (she wasn't very good at searching for stuff), she went to the library, and she finally started calling family. Well, she got around to asking my uncle (long story about that convicted pedophile) and he explained the recipe in great detail to her.

The next phone call I got was explaining in great detail why she was no longer making pies. :o ooops :funny:

To this day the running joke is that I am not allowed to ask her to cook anything for any reason.

Y'all got any messed up stories like that?

I shit my pants once at the dinner table though and ruined Easter for everyone. I even lifted my ass cheek up a little for additional reverb. :cert:

That's awesome. IIRC, I think I remember reading about you doing that a few months ago :funnier:

The adults were appalled. My nieces and nephews thought it was the funniest thing they'd ever seen.

Did you post the recipe for Thomas' Fudge Pie in the Recipes section?

I am tempted to eat a piece, even though wife told me 'under severe penalty'....
