Yes, I was trolling the "other" site. Guy's C5 gets stolen. Not saying that doesn't suck. Any of you that know me, know that I know what it feels like to lose a vette. What truly amazes me is the fact that there is currently an 8K reward for the return of it.

I really hope this guy gets his car back, but by the list of work he's got done to the engine, it's obvious that he has money. With everything going on in the world right now, typhoon in the Philippines, tornadoes in Illinois, etc...it think the funds could be better spent.

It is their money to spend as they see fit, but damn, the photos from the Philippines that I saw today really got to me and I'm thinking the money could go to a better cause.

Nice to see people trying to help the guy out, but I'm really tempted to call the "reward" people out and ask them what they've donated to help with the various disasters around the world.

What really makes me laugh is the fact that Jesse hasn't jumped in and shut the thread down because the money isn't going to St. Judes :leaving:

Don't see what the big deal is. It's his money. I would assume he's got more than an $8k uninsured loss on the car, so why not offer an award?

Not everybody even trusts the money they donate will actually go to the tragedy of the month.

He'll if you're going to get pissed about people spending their own money the way they want to. We have lots of hungry people sucking the government dry. Shouldn't we be kissed at people sending money over seas before helping the Americans in need?
