Oh yeah Mike. I usually record it so I can skip through the stuff that bores me. I always like to see what people will spend money on. Anyways Daytona is only a little over a month away:cheers:

I will watch some of it. I do some of the same as Jim does. I DVR it and skip through what I don't care for.

I quit watching it and started to watch Mecum instead. Its more laid back with better prices, and great information on the cars shown from a couple of gear heads.

I enjoy watching those old muscle cars from the 60's and 70's. How back in the day we could buy those cars for chump change compared to now. If we would have only known.

I think what made them great are no computers. Everything was simple and easy to work on. Parts were cheap. Gas was cheap. Anyone remember buying gas for 15 cents/gal? I just started driving in 1972 in San Diego, and there was this one corner with 4 gas stations which equal Gas Wars. Too bad I had a 1967 bug that I had to fill up for a couple of bucks only on 91 octane which was their cheap stuff.

gas was a $1.10 when I was in high school...which was about the same price it was in 2000 (14 years later- so no, gas was actually a bit pricey when I started driving.
as far as the tv auctions...don't have cable. It's like being unplugged from the Matrix.
