It's also great to take to a party because most people won't steal your booze. :yesnod:

Paul, you're gonna HAVE to drop by the house during your visit here! Not only do I have Dewar's, but also some Glenmorangie, Glenlivet cask, and Balvenie Doublewood.
I also have a little wine available too.
Just saying...

I enjoy a scotch on the rocks. Any scotch will do, as long as it's not a blend, of course. Single malt, Glen Livet, Glen Galley, perhaps, any Glen.

Sorry, for some reason I thought you played. When you replied to my "taking my liver to Scotland" thread some time ago I must have assumed you played golf also. My bad. We will get together to enjoy some usquebaugh

There are some really nice blends out there. You are depriving yourself if all you will drink are single malts.
One of my favorite blends. Monkey Shoulder (http://www.monkeyshoulder.com/)
Try this sometime. It will change your mind about blends :shots:

People on this forum are the exception not the rule. In my bar owner years Scotch was the least favored libation, rail or top shelf.
Except by ME of course!

BUT.....If you have a decent top shelf, It makes your bar appear high class. :seasix:

Problem was I was my own best customer with the single malts, and the VSOP XO cognacs.....didn't want them to evaporate or anything...:D

Good luck on that. It's the most frustrating, addictive, expensive, time-consuming pastime out there.
I'm played last night in the dark, under lights, in several layers of clothing in temps in the 30's, and am also playing this afternoon and tomorrow...

The only thing I learned on the golf course was how to walk and drink at the same time.

Every time you put ice in Scotch, a Scotsman sheds a tear
