I've never been to the event and I live about 10 miles from TMS. We'll be going this year, tho'. I hear it will be a great weekend.

:slap: :D Not a problem. I'm not that good with directions, but I do know you have to go OVER the railroad tracks and that you don't turn right at the church. :lolsmile:

Jaygood...I've been to the Lone Star Corvette Classic many times, too! Only once since I moved back from Florida, though, so I'm looking forward to it this year.

Hope you and the other OK guys can make some of the Vette Barn events over at Mike's that weekend, too!

I met a bunch of OK guys at the LSCC in 2008. They were mixing drinks out by the pool. :lol: Were you with that gang?

We have our reservations already. Last year was our first. We made the pool side booze party at that one. At least I think we did.:beer:

We weren't sitting by the back door of the hotel late at night were we? Hey I was just in your neighborhood last weekend. Was at Quality Motorsprorts getting some mods and a tune.

I think it was Friday evening and on Saturday evening (out in front where the cars were parked), Sunday I was talking to a group at the track.

I live maybe 10 minutes from the Quality Motorsports. Pat and Luke have done all the modifications to my car that I was not able to do.

Usually on Friday, we are out in front. After dark, we are back by the pool area.

I remember talking to a couple fella's on Sat night out front who were reeeally wanting to do burn outs in the parking lot. But Barney Fife was out patrolling. That sneaky bugger.

Yeah, last year since they didn't have a burn out contest (it may have been rained out or somehthing) there was a small but conspicuous group that migrated to the front of the hotel where a couple of brave and possibly intoxicated individuals were going to do there own in the parking lot. But, the night patrol was lurking in the bushes and eventually the crowd broke up and went back to the tables outside the back door.
