I got a new cheap TV for my desk at home. It's a 19" Insignia flat screen. The instruction "manual" is one large folded piece of paper. The first time you turn it on, you follow the menu. When it came to "Antenna, Cable, or Cable box", I stupidly entered "Cable"--I have a cable converter box. Now my channels appear as 47.2, 43.6, etc. with no designation as to what network I'm on. There are no instructions on how to go back and fix this.
Anyone have an idea?
sigh.....
surely there is a button somewhere that says 'set up', or something similar.
should we divert the HHS swat team to MS to bail you out?
ask Annie. :slap:

No "set-up" button. It does have some interesting buttons, though, like ASPECT, CCD,and MTS/SAP, none of which has to do with set-up. Annie's drunk.

Google the brand, model and "set up". If you're having problems, somebody already did and documented the set up.

It'll be something like... Menu...channels...sub menu choose auto channel search.... Then choose antenna , cable or satellite box.

Anyone have an idea?Look at the back of the TV. You'lll find a slot in the case. Insert
two quarters; the MENU will appear. You'll have about 5 minutes to change the settings :leaving:

Based on responses in this thread it appears that you are Google challenged too.

Manually change channel to 3 or 4. Cable box should take over after that.
