RECLAIM THE TITLE OF LOUDEST NFL STADIUM

The Chiefs' official Twitter account said Sunday that fans had broken the world record for loudest sports venue during Kansas City's 24-7 VICTORY over the Oakland http://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/limpwrist.gif Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.

The 137.5 decibels, if upheld, would top the 136.6 decibels set by the Seahawks on Sept. 16, when Seattle topped the San Francisco 49ers in a "Sunday Night Football" beat down.

Saw that, and I figured they would. The guy from Guinness said he thought KC had no chance. They sure proved him wrong. He also said after the game, that KC held their high mark much longer than Seattle did.

While Arrowhead has more seats, Seattle is a partial Dome, so they kind of cancel each other out with advantages/disadvantages.

While I love my hometown team (KC), this can be a healthy rivalry, and I hope Seattle makes a good and honest effort to reclaim the title. Regardless, both stadiums are LOUD and it's something both teams/fans can be proud of. :seasix:
