Dewitt Aluminum Radiator, Installation

The LT1 was working ok and lately would reach 220+F on traffic and at low speeds.

This is the old 16 years old OEM radiator, not bad right....

...think again this was the fourth shake down of it and it still leaving debris behind. I must tell you I do have a pressure
washer and I've done my best in the past.
There was all kind of stuff in there; dirt, rocks, hairs, bees, bugs, and lots of grime.

Installed the foam strips.

Using the pressure washer (again) with degreaser did my best on cleaning the condensator and the radiator's shroud.

I drilled five holes there. Now they allow the water to drain and not to puddle in there.

You must trim the fan's frame (about 1/4"), it is to compensate the extra thickness of the 4 row radiator.

Installed the rubber mounts.

These zip tights will keep the rubber mounts to stay in place while you battle to get the shroud in place.

Back to normal. You guys that have done this work know about those "Three Amigos" 7mm screws on the side????
...Now they are called the "Two Amigos"...Screw the one against the frame :lol:

This is one of the best upgrades you can do to a C4 Vette. My LT4 has this radiator and it stays cool no matter what, where or
how you drive. It is expensive but, you do get what you pay for.
