Mine was a '53, and it had a factory installed 265 V8 with two 4-barrels. It ran like a scalded ape....

Well, seeing that there were only a little over 3oo 53s made, I'd say it's a 54, and they were all straight sixes, polo white with red interiours, and....automatics.
So I think the Spence man is making a funny with his new v8 53, which debuted in 55, plus he'd have to be around 80 years old now, at least. :D

I knew the V8 was bogus. Spence being 80 I can believe :D
