1 user wants me to upgrade her whole Laptop because she is having issues with PDF attachments and now I get this e-mail:
"Where are my old notes folders?"
Seriously? Like I keep a mental inventory of EVERY file and folder on every machine and server on on our network.
So, where did you put her old notes folders? :bigears:

He's trying to cover up the fact that he lost it. What is that poor woman going to do now that he lost her old notes folder?

3 e-mails later and we finally figured out it's an archive in outlook....ugh... now I told him he has to find where it was stored on his old machine so we can re-import it.

you work for a company that is staffed by the owners relatives?
Gawd; I hate that. There's a lot of sub-standard employees - in key positions in these companies - solely because of their relation to the owner. What a bad business decision. :nonod:

I didn't build the system and knowing him he has them stored in some weird ass place when we specifically tell them to store items like that on the network drives so shit like this doesn't happen. God forbid we ask them to put forth the tiniest effort and give us any information so we can help them.
MOST of the other people are very good about this but this guy and a couple others in that office are just plain fecking lazy and have ZERO interest in putting forth any effort. If it isn't done FOR them they go and whine to the other VP's and President.

actually we are pretty organized as if we find shit in the wrong places it get's deleted automatically (After someone loses a couple gig of data they learn pretty fast to follow the directions LOL)
no offense taken, just hate working with these assclowns sometimes
