So Danielle and I flew to Mexico for the week and bump into Aerovette and his lovely wife. Who'da thunk it. :D

We'll post some pics up later. Gotta figure out Pbucket on the iPud...

We came out on the same plane from Houston.

It was great to meet Scott and his wife (and beautiful baby). First time checking in to the Barn since we got here.
Hope to see Scott and family at least once this week! Wife's got me hoppin' !

Post the results of your marlin fishing excursion! We leave Friday morning for 2 weeks in Cabo and I'm going to try to hook up with a charter company again -- always looking for a good recommendation of boat & captain.

Have fun! If I remember correctly, we're staying at the same place - Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach...

Room 2013 brutha. Got a fridge full of wine, rum and tequila.
Phones don't work for sheit here and internets is impossibly bad. :lol:

Snagged 3 mahi and 2 jacks.
We kept 1 and gave the captain and first mate the others.

They cooked them on the dock for us at Tequila Sharks.
Blackened, fish tacos and the 3rd batch was a garlic and pepper sauce. :yum:

Wish we got to catch up with you folks here as well.
We used Top Anglers and they were a great team witha really solid first mate.
They are not well set up for marlin though. I'd look at another group.

So here is how we crossed paths. (Sorry to hijack Scott)

Because of the year we have had and family health issues etc, our annual anniversary trip was questionable at best. I offered to sell our stay and Scott bailed us out of a bind by purchasing the time from us. Fast forward, and the friends that we travel with here each year offered to let us stay at their house here. They have the upstairs and let us have the downstairs. between that and my FIL's airline points, we were able to pull together a low budget trip and celebrate our anniversary as we have done since our honeymoon.

We initially thought our time here was staggered by a day, but as it turned out, we ended up on the same schedule. Scott had a connecting flight in Houston...OUR flight, so we met briefly at the airport on the way out and will hopefully at least get together once before we both head back.

Scott's as nice a guy in person as he is on the forum. :seasix:

Glad you guys got to get out for some much needed downtime.
We've got a couple lbs of Mahi in the fridge we're going to cook up tonight if you're free.
If not, we can catch up for dinner Thurs night or anywhere along the way.
Really debating going back for another fishing charter. Danielle and Natalie had a blast.
