I've been a tad busy lately as the weather has cooperated and the bees are gone...Well almost.
Here are a few pics to show the original condition of the property.

And now some recent pics after my remodeling efforts.
http://i999.photobucket.com/albums/af113/jeff79/DSC06564_zps7259e652.jpg
I cut along the bottom edge to install a new treated skirt in preparation for metal.

All holes are sheathed, the skirt is on and it's time for felt paper.

Under the 2nd window from the right is the last remaining bee hive. I actually may have a line on a guy who may come and take it away...:seasix:
http://i999.photobucket.com/albums/af113/jeff79/DSC06567_zpsde30502a.jpg
Oh ya... The other side of that wall is done too.

My goal has been achieved prior to the snow flying. I'm actually ahead of schedule so I'll see how much more I can do before the cold sets in. I need those bees to be gone so that I can close in that exterior wall.
I'll cherry pick the best windows that I took out, restore them and use them for the front of the barn, which is being brought back to it's originality.
Whew....:shots:

Come & get it, it's yours. It's ala 1900-1910.
I have all of the parts for it too. It came out of an old house in the city where it was still hooked up.
It's rusty so prolly not worth much other than scrap value.
It's almost time for a scrap run anyway.:D

I guess my dust comment some time ago may have prompted you to get a cover........or you might not want to splash any paint on the car....:D

I don't know why I didn't cover it last winter... I had the cover but I just didn't cover it. I wanted it to look like a barn find, I guess...:Jeff '79:
You did strike a nerve though, and woke me up...:seasix:

I had a different type material cover on my '77 and all kinds of crap got thru the cover. LIFT the cover off, do NOT drag it off when it is time to remove it. :yesnod:

Ok.... Should I tell the cats to stay off of it too?
At least they keep the little varmints from entering the car...:D
If the paint was pristine, then I'd really worry about it, but it's a driver.

If you find the cats on it, do not yell or throw things as the little bastards will scratch the paint since they got busted.

All I'm saying is dust gets under the cover, be careful when you remove the cover. :seasix:

That's true. There are several cars around my little town that have covers on them, and they're sitting in the driveway. Dust and grit get under the cover, and wind then does a sandpaper job on the finish.

Maybe subconsciously, I knew that, and opted for the dust to just lay directly on the car last winter, as opposed to the sandpaper effect that you describe.
There is very little dust anymore, so the cover is working just fine now, but I hear you guys.:yesnod:
I started this reno last December.
