So I'm out feeding Oakie...

...when these guys wonder up.

I take Oakie out of the pasture and put him in the paddock on the far side of the barn to give him his special "old man" feed. I get him out of sight of the other horses because that's sort of just being mean for them to see him eating some good stuffs and they ain't getting any. Anyway, Oakie is sloppy eater and he tosses some feed from his bucket to the ground. These guys have figured that out and seem to know when I'm feeding him. They hung around and made no effort to leave until I had Oakie back in the pasture. Can you see them?

I love watching the deer on my property. Lately, a buck is teaching a young buck how to defend himself. It's absolutely awesome to watch as they square off and charge each other, and veer off at the last second. Daddy teaching his son all of the tricks....:cool1:
