too many of these coaches are more interested in lining their own pockets as quickly as possible over teaching players how to play football and teaching them how to become men. men who keep their promises, men who graduate with degrees, men who will be successful in life regardless if they play another down of football.

players can read the news too, they see all the money flowing thru these programs and no doubt many think 'where's my cut?' and if they suffer a career ending injury, who is standing there ready to help them move on? not the coach.
