Holy cow!

Where we live there are a ton of hawks. I told my wife we have to walk in the yard with our 4lb toy rat terrier to make sure something like that doesn't happen!

One of those giant mother f'kers was in our yard the other day, I was worried he was going to take AJ.

I just wish the birds of prey around here would wipe out the armadillos and any other crawling wild life.....for that matter all the ferrel cats..... :issues:

We have Red Tails that sit on top of the homes on our end of the hood. We are at the edge of a 200+ acre cornfield and the bunnies are plentiful.

The fact that neither parent reacted is priceless. The dad wanted to bust out laughing.

The wife and I were eating dinner at a nice place in Galveston, right on the water, and we were outside eating. This little bird was hoping around where we were eating, and this little girl behind us said "Hey mommy, look at the cute little birdie, he's trying to get inside!"

The the bird flew out from under where we were, and a giant hawk swooped down and ate him in front of everyone, only feet away. It was priceless.

We were sitting in my truck one day at a local pond, watching the ducks and geese. There was a sudden flurry of wings and a hawk slammed into one of the ducks. Two quick stabs of the beak and it was over. Rita said "Are you gonna do somethng?". I laughed and said, "Too late now. It's done." The hawk took off with its dinner. Thole thing took less that ten seconds.

Nature in person. It was impressive.
