I put my ad up for my Dually, and in it I clearly state that the A/C worked last year but it sat unused for over 12 months and it no longer blows cold. i also state that the passengers fender is cracked. I also stated clearly it needs 6 tires immediately.

I also clearly stated the Actual mileage, not an estimate...

Ive had a few calls on it, basically I can surmise that the pople shopping for older duallys...

A. Want Big block power, for small block money

B. Have no idea what 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton and 1 ton really mean..

C. Have about 2000 dollars to spend, and want anyone selling something for more..to come down to their price. And will not consider duallys selling for the price they can afford.

Recent work done...
All new front end parts, ball joints, sway bar links, Tie Rod ends, etc..all totalled about 1800 in parts and labor with all new brakes.

All new Lights, Headlights, Tail lights, Parking lights, Corner Markers, Cab lights and gaskets, all new bulbs inside and out...also new LED clearance lights under the tailgate.

Flowmaster Series 70 Muffler, Single in, Dual out, out Dual Chrome 3" tips, sounds great, but not loud at all...mellow.

Cranks right up, Runs great, no smoke or noises, tows fine. I just pulled an 8500lb trailer with it and forgot it was back there.

It needs tires unfortunately...and Although I spent ALOT of money on fender repairs and paint last year...I have managed to damage one of the dually fenders...Im told it can be easily fixed, but a new fender is about 275.00 shipped online, Direct fit, and i have the paint code for it.

The body is REALLY clean beyond the fiberglass fender damage on 1 side...very rare to find one this straight, no rust at all, anywhere.

Gauges all work, and it has a new fuel pump and sender.

A/C blew cold last year, the A/C fan was a little noisy. in the past year it has lost its charge, not uncommon on a 16 year old truck, Im certain the leak is in the low side fill port, the little schrader valve...but Like I said, I rarely ever used this truck, it was more or less a spare truck and my primary truck never gave me any problems.

Its got miles on it, 248,002 as I recall, but you'd never know it driving it...its got power to spare, and no leaks, never loses water or oil, I put in plugs and the old ones were perfect.

I need 4000.00 for it,.. clear Florida Title...This thing is a Towing beast with many years left in her. Ive got 2 other trucks and this one has to go, I need the room in the driveway...and again, I just dont need it. But I know what these trucks are capable of, and what they are worth, i know the fender is an easy fix, and I have the marker light that goes in it, and the wiring is fine behind it....

Are you really, Really, REALLY sure it runs/drives good?

If you bring it up to me, (Idaho/Canada border), I want my Dad, brothers, cousins to drive it and look it over before we all sit down to haggle. We all agree that 4K is somewhat on the high side for a truck this old.

BTW: We'll be testing the power by moving 10-12 loads of timber from the woodlot to the mill. Each load = 15, 000 lbs. Be sure to bring an adaquate trailer. You will help to load the wood, Right?

We'll decide if your truck is wanted after ALL the wood is moved. Next weekend is when you need to be here.

Like the truck I bought today...I looked at the pics, read the ad..liked what I saw...decided if it was as advertised, Id offer 400 dollars under asking price.

I called...set a time the next day to look at it, I checked it out...liked it, came back a few days later with cash (at his request) and picked it up today....whole interaction time was under 15 minutes, total....

And I got a HELL of a nice truck...
