They were yesterday during the game about him being just six HRs away from Willie Mays' career number of HRs. They said there is a huge bonus involved if he surpasses this number. If his suspension sticks despite his appeal, he may just have until the end of the season to do it.

Since he has come back from injury after the allstar break he is one of the few guys that HAS ben producing.

IF he gets suspended for next season, he is still under contract after that and owed a shit ton of money. I think he can still get it done physically after the suspension is over. Yeah he'll be old, but he'll have an entire year to get healthy...
