Have one or two drinks almost every day. Typically wine or beer. I enjoy it and burn enough calories that it doesn't affect me in any way.

I couldn't tell you the last time I was actually drunk, but I'll have one or two most nights. Beer only, keeps "angry Dave" from showing up...

Quit for six weeks once (20 years ago), a result of getting totally shitfaced at a company picnic. Still felt like crap a week later. My average in the weekly big money league dropped 12 pins during that time and after shooting ~150 one night the woman on our team had had enough with me. She brought me a tall draft and said, "F'n drink this!"

I shot 279 the next game and I've never looked back.
