For those that don't know BMW's the V10 is the motor in the 2005-10 M5's and the E36 chassis is this body style which ran from 92-98/99. Stock it's 500hp.

Seems like a lot of bike vs car races go down that way.
The bike gets the holeshot with lighter weight and gearing.
But, by the time the car gets that weight moving, they often reel the bike in at higher speeds.
That bike will run 9s all day long though. 150 mph in 10 seconds flat? Damn...
Takes me at least 11.5 :D

It was a second gear start which he spun the tires through and well into third. I guessing 1st is pretty much useless under hard acceleration.

:iagree: Very hard to plant that power, even with great street tires. Especially if he was spraying.
My best with a lot less hp ~600 was an 11.2 and that was on a well prepped track with a bucket of VHT to boot.

So after you thrash somebody and let off why does the loser keep his foot to the floor as seen in this video? Never quite figured that out.
Do they think they can win after the contest is over?

I don't think the bike had let off.
