I saw.. Heard its dropping 400 pounds too.
When I'm done with my car I doubt I will get another. Kids will be bigger. Probably get back into a sports sedan.

Yup. Smaller car and an IRS finally too.

I am very much looking forward to its unveiling (or better spy shots).

Holy hell, I've been bitching about Ford changing these 2 items for a loooong time.
Well, me and millions of others....
Just the drop in weight and redesigned suspension should be huge. :cert:

all rumors look encouraging; though there's no real source for it "losing 400 lbs".
IRS is actually heavier than the current suspension. The EcoBoost 4 version might be a little lighter, but a V8 version will be about 3,500 lbs. Which isn't all that bad if the V8 engine is 450'ish hp.

I read that;
but "rumors" don't constitute a "source". It would be cool if true though.

I'm encouraged to see them stick an IRS in there and test it on the track. I went to buy a GT500 last year and changed my mind after driving it.

Its gonna be an interesting car for sure. Just with my kids getting bigger it won't be practical. I'll probably get back into a sports sedan. Maybe a V, Str8, C63, M3, SS, etc..

That's the thing about raising kids. They get bigger, and my back seat stays the same size.
Apologies to the cast of "Dazed and Confused."
