No you don't. Trust me. I have never dealt with a bigger piece of shit company in my life than 360 Forged. Those are what I like to refer to as a lesson learned the hard way. Supervettes doesn't have anything on those scam artists.

I will take the compliment on the looks though. The color/style was all my doing and as far as I know they were the only ones out there that looked like that.

They were actually a tinted clear over brushed aluminum. Looked great for the 5 minutes before it started peeling and the chrome started pitting.

I ALMOST have myself talked into selling the Trans Am though. Brakes are pulling to the right and it does need a tune up. But I know it will be the one I regret selling so I always end up talking myself out of it. My boss at my FT job is making me a cash offer, but I told him if I do jump I may want to buy it back in a couple of years :lol: I could use the cash to pay down some debt but damn.... :(

That is exactly why I made the (bad) decision to sell mine. As a daily driver at the time it was beyond impossible to keep them looking good. The guy that bought mine posts pictures all the time on CF and every time I see them looking good I cry a little inside. If I had it to do over again I would get them polished up and then clear coated. You might lose a little of the color and depth in the metal, but you could at least keep them clean and shiny.

Another option that I think would be absolutely badass would be a new technique similar to black chrome (but looks much better IMO) that I saw at a place called Advanced Plating in Nashville that I deal with for work. They did a SEMA show '69 Camaro with it and it looked absolutely incredible. I can't find anything about it online... but there is no doubt that pictures would never do it justice.

How's the bodywork coming along?

Body work is complete and car has been painted. Small parts going on right now. It will be ready in a few weeks, but it will be sometime in Sept or Oct before I can go pick it up just because of my schedule. I can send you some in progress pix on email if you are interested. Vette is SO close to being on the road, but a lot of family stuff going on has made it slow going. Not divorce or anything, but if you don't know, shoot me a pm and I'll get back to ya!:seasix:

We're not sure to be honest. I *think* it's a Shriners Manx, if it's a real one. It's definitely not one of the original 2-seaters, as it doesn't have the vacuum hoses glassed in under the front fenders.

How much u want for that POS?:D If you're really interested, I'm sure we could work something out. It's rust free, but needs a complete restoration. It has the matching transmission, which has already been rebuilt, but only has a date correct block. No rotating assembly, heads or intake.
