NJ Cop Makes Unexpected Bust in Store Bathroom

PARSIPPANY, N.J. August 6, 2013

A police officer who stopped at a northern New Jersey convenience store to use the bathroom instead ended up arresting a man there who allegedly was breaking up marijuana on a $100 bill.

Parsippany police tell NJ.com that officer Michael Sprung stopped at the store just after 1 a.m. Tuesday.

When he opened the bathroom door, he saw a 19-year-old Lake Hiawatha man sitting backward and fully clothed on the toilet. The man then unsuccessfully tried to hide the marijuana behind the toilet when he saw the uniformed officer standing in the doorway.

The man is charged with drug possession.

My old buddy Vince who I have told stories about before here..

Was arrested years ago at a concert for possession of weed. (about a gram)

While at the police station he was sitting at a table with his hands cuffed behind him, they sat the weed on the table in front of him, as soon as the officer turned away, he went face first at it....

...and ate it! :lol:

Well, as a libertarian, I believe drugs should be legal for adults. Having said that, our rocket scientist pretty much deserved to get busted, for general stupidity and asshattery. Gas station bathrooms is serious business. Nobody goes into one unless they REALLY have to go, and ain't nobody got time for dat guy chopping up his weed in there.
