I was reloading some 5.56 for my AR-15 and bent a decapping pin on my RCBS resizing die ( #11101 ). When I removed the resizing button, the threads where all torn up on the threaded shaft. It had to be a factory defect as I purchased this die set brand new when I purchased my AR-15 about 15 years ago. I put a new button head pin in but the resizing button just spun.
I looked online but it seemed everybody was back ordered on the pin. I was talking with my friend George and he said contact RCBS. They have great customer service.
I emailed them, explained what happened and wanted to know how much for a new threaded shaft with sizing button.
When they emailed me back, they said it was covered under warranty and would be free of charge.
Sure enough, a brand new threaded shaft with correct button head decapping pin PLUS 5 extra pins. :cool1:
GREAT customer service :yesnod:
new on the left, old on right
