I think Porsche Carrera...Dodge Viper...Lamborghi Countach...Shelby Cobra...Ferrari Testarossa...Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud...and that's without even knowing how great the cars look. Worst to me are the numbered models: Lexus ES350, GS350, LS460, Mercedes 300s, 400s, 600s, BMW 300s, 500s, 700s (except for the M Series as names). I'm undecided about Corvette: Not bad, but it's name is really taken from a lightly armed escort warship, kinda fast but not as fast as a U-Boat was. What are yours?

[Mods, feel free to move this to PR&C if it's too controversial....:leaving:]

Somehow I don't think the Chevy Unterseeboot would go over very well. I'd imagine old car collectors would try to chase it down in a Tucker Torpedo :D

I like Mustang (named for the plane not the horse)...Firebird, Javelin, Charger...Superbird...I like the name Stealth but not the car.

I think Escort sounds like a cheap (expensive) date...

Corvette Stingray and Sting Ray is awesome too.

For motorcycles:

Vincent Black Shadow
BSA Victor

They just sound masculine and bad ass.

Audi, Mercedes Benz and Porsche has always been associated with quality. After WWII, Nissan Motors went to the Germans and asked for their help in naming a new automobile that they would like to introduce to the world. It was an important venture to restore Japan. The Japanese respected the Germans for giving great names to their autos.

After many meetings, an agreement was about to come to fruition and the Germans asked by when would they like to make a decision on a name. The japanese responded that they are coming out with the car within the month so they needed the name by next week, to which the Germans responded "Dat sun?"
