This happened awhile ago... tonight.
My 8 year old daughter Aaliyah is a true critter lover, she's always dragging something home and wants to keep it.
Since we already have about a dozen or so cats here (all outside) I guess what could be the problem with "just one more" when she brought home a small orange kitten the other day.
Cute little kitten, that is probably too young to be away from it's mom, but does have a healthy appetite so guess it will be ok.
I keep telling Aaliyah that the kitten has to stay outside at night, but she sometimes falls asleep and forgets (or so the story goes)
Earlier tonight, I heard the kitten meowing downstairs so went down and put it outside.
It wasn't about 10 minutes later I hear it again, so went down to see, and I'll be danged if somehow it found its way back in!
I check all the windows, the doors are not locked but closed.
How the heck did it get back in I muttered to myself and went back upstairs.
10 minutes more go by and I hear it inside again!
There is no litter box inside, so I go to put it out, hopefully for the last time.
Wondering how the heck does this little mofo keep getting in? :confused5:
When I opened the door.....
There were two more... orange kittens.
All look alike..
It had all been just an illusion
Hopefully, there are no more "orange kittens" in the house, but little Miss Aaliyah has some "splaining" to do in the morning. :toetap:
