So, I'm setting up my wife's new iPhone and I come across April Wine. NOT her normal listening choice. She's a country fan.

Starting in 1964 with The Beatles if a band that I liked came to Dayton, Cincinnati, or Columbus I went to see them. A few times I went to concerts in Detroit, Indy and Louisville. I just love to see live performances.:cert:

I've seen April Wine live several times. They were around here all the time back in the day. Pretty sure I saw REO Speedwagon open for them the first time.

I saw these guys with Foreigner on this tour back in '80 and a couple of other times after that.. They were great, and had one of the best drum solos that I've ever seen to this day.
You'd be surprised how many great tunes that you knew if you saw them.....
Harder Faster is a great record...:yesnod:

If I remember right, I saw Head East warm these guys up one time. Crap, I've seen so many concerts of minor characters that I can't keep them straight.

That looks like the same studio that Rush was in during their filming of Beyond The Lighted Stage...Hmmm... I wonder if it is.

They opened for Rush in houston in 79. We were like who the F is this. They were not getting a lot of air play at the time. It picked up quite a bit after that.
