i love women..honestly, i love em..but, it chaps my ass when I see one on Facebook posting a picture of some extravegently expensive ring, saying stupid shit like "I wish I could find a man that loved me enough to buy me this"...

im like..hey, dummy, this kind of thinking is why you have 2 kids, , no husband, live with a friend, and have a new BF every 2 weeks...you are after the wrong kind of dudes. You need to seek out the kind of guy that, if he could only afford to buy you a simple wedding ring, a band with a diamond chip in it...that you would cherish it and what it represents...

Its the tendency for people to look at physical attractiveness first....and only much later, look at the person for who they are. I see it every day...have a friend, great gals...break up with BF because after 1yr living together he decides to steal her money, and get a girl on the side.....so she leaves him, and...1 week later, is enamored with yet another guy...obviously..tall, handsome, attractive by normal standards, suddenly "he is the one"...just like the past 8 were also "the one"....

My folks have been married 43 years, my grand parents were married like 54 and 52 years, great aunt and uncle, 55 years....weddings were nothing fancy, rings were nothing fancy....but the love, the passion..never faded.

Not saying men are without blame...but, women are capable of simply NOT HAVING SEX, to prevent pregnancy. A guy...he wants to put his twanger somewhere warm and moist, isnt picky...just...warm and moist, and even then...we arent unwilling to mark out one or both or those requirements. Men have sex..we bust out the baby batter...and we are done. Women, can take a pill to ensure that nothing becomes of it...and abortion is always on the table.

Its difficult. If I go after women in my age bracket or older, they have ALOT of baggage, or are nucking futs...

Happened to me a couple times back in the day. Hated that feeling. Once i figured out why it was happening i just became blunt and told girls that i was into them and asked if they were into me. Some said yes, some said no. Landed a couple one night stands just posing that question while out too...lol

Now the one advantage to being in the friend zone is that you can scope out her friends and get the low down on them. Chances are she will put in a good word for you too. Gotta work every situation to your advantage.

Shallow men and women are easy to find and avoid, especially with facebook.
Use it to your advantage... if your interested in somebody, make it known. I think being friends is good at first because you get to know them, but that's what dates are for too.. You see somebody you like, you get a good vibe from them, you should ask them out. A date can be fun or become a good story, but it's certainly better than staying home and browsing facebook.
