Top Gear Filmed A Show In Buffalo This Week

It was about amphibious vehicles and was filmed on the Buffalo waterfront.

This road, the Skyway as it's called here, was closed from 10am to 2pm for filming.
This pic was taken from my work place and shows where the Sabres play, the Buffalo River, and the Naval Park, and Lake Erie beyond that.. Obviously a new building is being put up..
The joint is starting to look good.

That area is looking a lot better. I Have not been in down town Buffalo for a decade or so.

Ya, it really is. Buffalo was like Detroit 20 years ago. It is now rising from the ashes of an industrial mecca . It peaked in 1900 and has been on the decline ever since. It's great to be alive to see it's Renaissance.
It's good to finally see boom cranes all around the city...
