Went to local gun shop for reloading supplies

Bare shelves. Plus, nobody there to answer questions. Poor service. Of course, they don't care, they have more business than they can handle.

Very few reloading supply joints here in Austin. I just don't want to pay the haz mat fees for powder and primers.

But, this shop is old school. Rude, non service. No wonder everybody does mail order.

BTW, McBrides Guns is the name. Sort of an institution in Austin, but typical attitude for a gun shop.

Much prefer GT Distributors but they don't do reloading.

Get a few local folks together who need supplies and split the haz mat fees.

I've purchased two guns at McBrides, but that was because they were the only one that had the guns I was looking for actually in stock.

But I've never had good service.

Best place I've seen for reloading supplies is Cabelas, but that's a bit of a drive...and I don't know how their stock is recently.

I don't think I've ever seen reloading supplies at Reds.

I haven't been to GT Distributors.

I still need to check out Guns Plus in Georgetown. I want to get a tour of their outdoor range.

Guns plus is pretty good. GT is great. Much bigger.

Cabela's stock was down when I went.
