..don't speak for or represent the opinions or view points of all black people. Actually alot of us think they are doing more harm than good for blacks and race relations at this point.
I just thought i would clarify that due to the number of recent posts which lead me to believe that alot of you think otherwise.
Have a good evening everyone..

Seems like an awful lot of people agree with them though, obviously thier POV isnt that of the entire race, but I dont see the assembled masses crying for them to STFU...

I and many others are too busy creating a better life for our kids and families and as a result we don't have time to attend marches and protests. BTW some of the causes that these asshats bring to light are legit (although they are few and far between IMO), others like this Zimmerman ordeal are not.
There are different types of people out there Red. Those that bitch about shit and do nothing about it and those that make the best of what they have and do what they can to better their situation. I'm to busy doing the later to give a rats ass about what others are doing, and what others think of me.

If only more people felt that way, of all races...
Jesse and Al care most about Jesse and Al. Duh.

The race baiters are shockingly powerful, and want hesitate railroading those that speak out against them. It should be criminal profiting from pushing racism at this point in modern civilization.

I think the thing that happens is, the racial spins stirs up so much shit, among races...
For instance..if Trayvon was white, and Zimmerman was white...do you think Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would give a single f*ck between them? Hell no...because its not about right or wrong, or reasonable doubt, or self defense...or any of that..its about a non-black guy, shooting a black guy. Trayvon could have had a 12gauge shotgun pointed at Zimmerman...Treyvon could have had the only gun between them, and if Zimm had beaten him so badly he died as a result..JJ and AS would STILL be playing the race card..in order to spin racial unrest. Lets face it..if blacks and whites got along in peaceful harmony...AS and JJ would be obsolete overnight...and they cant have that, now can they?
All they have to do is put a little spin on an otherwise open and shut story...
Such as...Lets say there is a new story where Male A was selling drugs to Male B...and a fight broke out, and Male B ended up dead....report that story to a group of people...a sample of society..all races, and most of them, if not all of them will say "Well, they were doing drugs...no great loss...send the guy to jail"....
Now, tell the same story, but add in that Male A was white, and Male B was Black....suddenly, some of the black members of the sample are saying...well, did he had to kill that guy..he didnt have to kill him....then someone says.."He probably set out to kill him"...suddenly there is national outrage over the case, because now..its "a hate crime"...vs a simple drug deal gone bad.
Now change the races, so the black guy kills the white guy...and the white members of the sample are mostly unaffected by the change...because for the most part there is not alot of racial bias from right and wrong.
Racism will only die...when the people that willingly use it as a crutch...and a weapon, stop.

OP...I think we all realize there is a difference between people like you, and the crowd that just wants to be bought with food stamps and free phones, as well as the people that want to buy them. This applies to all colors.
Some of us (myself included) may occasionally be smart assed, and push the envelope...and even tease you personally, but we appreciate you making efforts to better yourself. I doubt any of us needed you to remind us that you stand with we screwball barn members, against those two hypocrites.

Good on you for making a better life for your children. :cert:

I don't think they speak for you or your thoughts.
However, I feel they do speak for a section of society (not just black) who strives to keep division between people.
Sadly the media gives Al, Jessie, etc... too big of a microphone when it should give it those who would quell the division.
Just my .02.

you're not mentioning that - where it really needs be mentioned.
Send this to ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and MSNBC. They are the ones giving validity to these hucksters.

EXACTLY.
Most of the major news outlets have scared the non-cultists from speaking out. Maybe now is the opportune time for those not in the cult to start speaking out - LOUDLY. I think they'd
be surprised at the support they would receive.

I'm not at all surprised to hear you make that statement, Mark. What surprises me is that some folks do take the Revs seriously.

A big problem is that we have an Attorney General and POTUS who totally agree with them.

I don't know what they're pissy about, they wanted GZ charged with murder, and that is what they got. Not anyone else's fault that murder 2 was a charge they could never have proven.

Thank you for being a good citizen and person.
Both "leaders" you mention only seem interested in making controversy and doing nothing to bring up the masses. They seem only to pick a few facts or ideas that fit into what they want to complain about.
If everybody would simply work together, things would be better for everybody.
And this thread is why I respect Mark so damn much. :seasix:
