When Fox announced it's slate for this week's Comic Con, featuring footage from The Wolverine and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, they also teased that they were bringing a "major surprise".

This morning, they released this...

... on the Facebook page for the 2009 threequel Predators.

Is it for a movie... or a game... or a comic?

Nobody seems to know... but it seems to be hip to put Arnold Schwarzenegger back into franchises he started 30 years ago (King Conan, Terminator 5)... just sayin'...

Legendary is bringing a teaser poster, and maybe footage, for Godzilla...

I. Love. Predators. I'd be stoked for another one. I even enjoyed the crappy AVP's and the Adrien Brody movie. Bring it!

What Arnie gonna hunt Predators from a Hoveround? :funny:

No, this will be a pre-prequel. Set in 1973, Arnie is part of a Louisiana Army National Guard squad participating in weekend maneuvers in rural bayou country and squabbling with local Cajun settlers. They encounter an early Predator, who hunts everyone and everything.

I heard it was going to be a pre-pre-prequel. Set in Nazi Germany in 1944, a captured Predator is used by the Nazis to develop super technology to win the war. Arnold is a fertilized zygote who single handedly defeats the scheme by preforming his own abortion. But it's not an abortion! HAH!

Nah, you're both wrong. It's actually a pre-pre-pre-prequal, set during the Aztec Empire. Predators have been living amoung, and killing the Aztec for so long they named the predator Quatzequatel. They used his example of killing to start their own practice of human sacrifice. Along comes Ahnald as a Spanish Conquistador and kills, every uglymudufukah. in. da. room.

You didn't see Alien vs Predator, where it was shown that The Yuatja (the Predators) were revered as gods by the Aztecs, who learned how to build cities and pyramids from their gods, and willingly gave sacrifices to them, so the Yuatja could grow the aliens as prey to be hunted in ceremonial coming-of-age hunts for their youths.

Damnit! That's ok, I have a new idea. ok, so, there's this police officer in Detroit who gets killed and some giant corporation turns him into a cyborg cop...a robot cop if you will, to go fight crime, but here's the kicker in the plot. This, robocop, that's a catchy name, actually finds and brings justice to the very people who killed him in the first place. Doesn't that just blow your mind? Huh?

I know right? I got a winner this time!

Now if I could just work Peter Weller into the story.

Nono, the guy you really need is Kurtwood Smith... played Red Forman on That 70's Show... he'd make a good lead henchman for the surprise big baddie...

I dunno, ya think he could pull off snorting wine from his fingers? I really want the baddie to snort wine off his fingers. You know, like maybe dip them in someone's drink to show disrespect? NOBODY has done that before!
