A $2,200 cable from Best buy WTF? I don't care what kind of cable it is...first off i wouldn't spend $2 at best buy for anything.
Seriously somebody's spent that kind of coin for a f'kn cable?

Love some of the reviews on the site
As everyone knows, the most important part of your home theater system is the HDMI cable. I was SOOO happy when placing the order for this, now I am one step closer to eventually buying a high definition television now that I have the cable! And when the cable arrived, it was beautiful - like being smacked in the mouth by the hand of God. I opened the box, and Best Buy was kind enough to have also included with it a newborn litter of kittens! So until I can save up another $2,200 for a television, blu-ray player, iPod, receiver, speakers, X-Box, wall mount kit, and catch up on my child support payments, I can sleep soundly knowing I made the right choice, and that 8 fluffy kittens are keeping me company.
What's great about it: sense of elitism
What's not so great: kitty litter
I would recommend this to a friend!

Now as for the cable...for that kind of money have you considered wireless controllers? My uncles LG flat screen on his wall has a wireless transmitter that transmits everything in 1080P.

Well, financing is available. I say go for it. :D
I usually go to Merit Line for my non-baller cables.

Without that cable you may as well just have stuck with your old 25" Curtis Mathes TV from 1981.

:leaving: that is a really sweet tv though -- too bad the remote's in Korean.
I knew you'd just bought that TV, so I missed the reviews on the website, I saw the cable & price and said NFW.
I would ... the more expensive it is, the better ... or you can buy the $6 generic one while you're at it ... swap out the logos ... use the now $6 Audioquest and return the now $2000 generic and your buddies will never know the difference ...
Cybercowboy confirmed this way back on CFOT when the HDMI thread went on for months and months ...

yeah, but this Audioquest is 39.4' in length, i think they did that to prevent people like you from doing the "old logo/sticker swap" scam on them :smash:

I'm actually using a no-name 50 ft. from my computers' GTX460 to my 32" Samsung ... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't (a little known trick is to edit the name source on that TV's HDMI port to DVI from HDMI ...) ... so I dunno ... thinking of getting a Monster and if it works, I'll swap out the logos ...

It's pretty good. My cat chewed through my first one, so the next one I bought I soaked in dog piss. The cat leaves it alone now.
