Some hard ones, maybe an easy one or two, hope they're all interesting. Grab a beer...and no Googling or Google Images!
(You have one hour.)
1. Due to rumors that there was a world shortage of chewing gum, everyone was stocking up on packs. By the time I'd got to the store, they had sold out!
However, there were two people at the register who had already bought 4 and 5 packs respectively and they kindly offered to share their packs with me.
After the sharing, we all had the same number of packs each and I paid them $9 for my packs. How did they share the $9 between them?
2. If you have it, you can't say it. What is it? (I'm assuming you can speak, so the answer isn't "muteness".)
3. The digits in 2013 form a sequence (0, 1, 2, 3). When did this last happen (not necessarily the same digits)?
When will this next happen (not necessarily the same digits)?
[Each answer is worth a point.]
4. If a hen and a half will lay an egg and a half in a day and a half, how many eggs would six hens lay at the same rate in six days?
5. You are your way to visit your Grandma, who lives at the end of the valley. It's her birthday, and you want to give her the cakes you've made.
Between your house and her house, you have to cross 7 bridges, and as it goes in the land of make believe, there is a troll under every bridge!
Each troll, quite rightly, insists that you pay a troll toll.
Before you can cross their bridge, you have to give them half of the cakes you are carrying, but as they are kind trolls, they each give you back a single cake.
How many cakes do you have to leave home with to make sure that you arrive at Grandma's with exactly 2 cakes?

Answer to 1 is easy.
You bought three packs of gum for $9 dollars, $3/pack.
The person with 4 packs got $3, and the person with 5 packs got $6.

4. If a hen and a half will lay an egg and a half in a day and a half, how many eggs would six hens lay at the same rate in six days?
Another easy one. You are essentially stating that a hen can lay one egg per day. Six hens would lay 36 eggs in six days.
and for lunch, how about some fried chicken, now that the fridge is full of eggs? potato salad on the side with some coleslaw and sweet tea. peach cobbler for dessert.

Wrong.
1.5 hens, 1.5 eggs, 1.5 days
3 hens, 3 eggs, 1.5 days
6 hens, 6 eggs, 1.5 days
6 hens, 24 eggs, 6 days.

WAIT I AM STILL EDITING THIS POST! DO NOT LOOK AT IT. LOOK AT YOUR PICTURE.
OK, the answer for the hen question is 81 or 77. I was wrong. I'll admit that.
1.5*1.5*1.5 = 3.375 This is the rate of one chicken per 1.5 days.
In 6 days that would be 4 * 3.375 = 13.5 eggs per chicken (4 1.5 day intervals in 6 days). But a chicken can't lay half an egg, so 13? If we allow half-eggs as your stupid ass question states, then the answer is 81 (13.5*6). If not, 13*6=77 eggs.
Incorrect. Hint: Think about 3 hens first.
