I am a HUGE Aerosmith fan.

but I hate this song.

The band pussified themselves so much over the last several years that I am no longer proud to be a HUGE fan.

Give me the Aerosmith of the 70's any day. :seasix:

Edit: I should clarify, I actually like the song a bit, but wish it was someone else that recorded it.

I liked "Just push play"...first album I really enjoyed all the way through...

I dont think any other band could have pulled this song off the way they did though.

There are 5 Aerosmith albums worth listening to:

Aerosmith,
Get Your Wings,
Toys In The Attic,
Rocks, (Their finest work)
and
Draw The Line.

Then Joe Perry left to start the Joe Perry Project, which by the way was far better than Aerosmith of that time frame.

Once they reunited they commercialized into what you hear today. They are still my favorite band, saw them several times including Madison Square Garden in 1976 and Giant Stadium in 1978.

I own none of the later stuff.

Too bad what they did to themselves. Well they made themselves filthy rich and famous, maybe I should say too bad what they did their to early fans.

Once they became a corporation and the entertainment turned to business, they went off the edge in my book. I still go see them and I still get sucked in to buying anything they release in hopes of a tiny fleck of gold lost in all the turds. So far..not much gold. Living on the Edge was probably the last song that got my attention.
