ST. PAUL, Minn. - It's one for the record books. A lot of ones, that is.

A Minnesota woman gave birth at exactly 1:11 a.m. on Tuesday - Jan. 11, 2011.

That's 1-11-2011.

Amy Zeller and Codjo Mensah of Eagan welcomed their daughter, Flora Mensah, at United Hospital in St. Paul.

Zeller tells KARE-TV that they were watching the clock click down and the baby was born at exactly the right moment.

Both baby and mother are doing well.

 story, this one seems to top it though -

MERIDIAN -- Tuesday's date had lot of ones in it. It was January 11, 2011, which was of course 1/11/11.

Babies born on that date have a pretty unique birthday as it is, but at St. Luke's in Meridian, a baby boy was born at 11:11 a.m., making for even more "ones".

'Just lucky!'

Baby Tyler Ashton Marx will have a pretty neat story for life, just considering the date and time he was born.

"As soon as he came out, the clock turned to 11:11," Mother Leslie Marx said. "He just held out. My mom passed away in October, so I'm thinking she had something to do with it. Held onto him right until the perfect moment and let him come."

Leslie Marx, says there's pretty much only one way to explain all those ones: "I'm just lucky!"

Dad watches birth from Iraq

There was something else that makes his story special; his dad Jared was serving in Iraq with the 116th when he was born. So Marx says she was also lucky because her husband still got to see their son's birth, thanks to the Internet and a laptop computer.

"We got him situated, and he just hung out there the whole time and talked. It was like he was in the room, only in a computer screen," Marx said. "He couldn't exactly hear everything that was going on, and I really couldn't hear him the entire time either, but knowing he was there and having his support really made a big difference."

Not only was Jared able to watch the birth live, but a few hours later, they were able to talk again on Skype. So, though he's far away, Jared didn't have to miss Tyler's first moments.

A St. Luke's spokesman says the hospital frequently uses Skype to help families talk to their deployed loved ones

Even more numerical luck

Some other numerical coincidences for Marx: Tyler's birthdate and time, 1/11/11 at 11:11, contains the number "one" nine times. His older sister was born on 9/9/09.

Also, Tyler was born 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Those same numbers match his uncle's birthday, July 11. His uncle was there when he was born.

Baby #3?

With two kids with two unique birthdays, we had to ask: What's the plan for baby number three?

"We're going to see what we can do in 2013. See what happens then. March sometime that year," Marx said.
