Disclaimer: I rarely watch TV, as I never have time... But today, on this 4th of July Holiday, I turned on the TV, flipping to what used to be CMT, and found few videos, lots of "show" programing, and little country about the country music television.
I guess CMT has gone the way of TNN, err... Spike :waiting:

Pretty much no cable channel has programming relating to it's name anymore. It's all just commercials interrupted by un-reality shows.
First video killed the radio star, then YouTube killed the video channels. Their business model melted down and they've built a new one.

Bought by Viacom in 1997. Then they transitioned it into the MTV arm in 2000.

So aside from watching an old Waylon concert, where could I go for real country?
