I can get the part from my sponsor for wholesale. Shipping is the issue. It's not that expensive of a part.

I've replaced more than my share of those. LOL

Also, the parts are really not that expensive. Left and right side parts are about $25 each and the middle is less than $100.

Any idea what the wholesale price is?

Is that a euphemism for erectile dysfunction?

Looks like $159 at gmpartsdirect.com

gmpartsdirect.com: Alternate GM Catalog (http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/catalog/frameset.cfm)

I would have to wait until Monday to get a price from my sponsor. Long piece, not heavy, but shipping is going to be the issue.

One of our two turtles, Raphael, was in Orlando to have a cyst removed from his neck. Without the surgery, the cyst would have closed his airway and killed him. We have to tend to his wound for 12 days, both externally, and internally, with 3 shots of antibiotics spread across every third day. ;)

P.S. The other one is Michelangelo. My daughter is a Ninja Turtle geek.

You can't get the part # from the internet. I can get it from my sponsor on Monday. But, that price is likely accurate. Retail is closer to $220.

He looks great. That's what he usually looks like, sans the cut in his neck. ;)

He's a very unique species of turtle. We've had them both for about 7 years.

Yep. The blues and whites are very strong in their color scheme. It's why we got them in the first place. Goofiest little things on the planet. Very personable and loving. :yesnod: Ours will come up and kiss your hand when it's time to eat.

We hate having them separated for now. Raph is in a hospital tank, in quarantine until he's better.

What did the surgery cost? Out of curiosity.

$381

Plus gas from Fort Myers to Orlando 'round trip.

He's a member of the family, no different than our dogs. Hate spending the money, but his chance of a full recovery is close to 100%.

We would hate to have seen either turtle be alone. These brothers have been together from day one and do not share the tank with any other animals.

We just learned that the guy who bred them recently died. Guy was in his 40's to 50's. No word on what happened to the rest of his stock. :sadangel:

Years ago we had a small Paint turtle we caught, that my Daughter named "Speedy"

It was like a dog almost, it would eat out of your hand, and liked to be petted.

It would also come to my daughter when she called it.
