Have seen it, but have never tasted it. Cube-dweller next door got a bottle for Christmas and was goin' on about it.

if it tastes nasty, maybe you could use it for transmission fluid? :hide:

Nice stuff. It seems like there are a lot of scotch drinkers that look down on blends as being inferior to single malts. I actually like a number of different blends:shots:

I agree. I'm not a huge scotch drinker and far FAR from a snooty expert but in what I have had, I like both pretty much equally. I've had some of each that I liked and some of each that I didn't.

It's a blend, but it's tasty. For me it's all about taste, some people say "eh, singles are always better than blends" and I don't agree with that. Scotch is like music, different types for different times.

Ditto. Be it beer, bourbon (since I live in KY), scotch, or anything else, I drink what I like and don't give even a remote crap about what I "should" like.

Just for the record, I do prefer singles to blends as the ones I like have less of a "blend bite", but I won't turn down a glass of JW Black or Green, well, unless there's some Balvenie close at hand too :)
