Let me start off by saying that I was a tad nervous about the thought of the 6 mile bike parade on a single speed cruiser.

That 6 miles flew by - blood sugar didn't drop, nor did I overheat. +1

This place was the most fun freakshow you can imagine going to. Seriously. Wear whatever the F you want out of your closet (or hell, your wife's closet) and no one will give it a second though. Just a heap of bike loving freaks who all love good beer. Awesome, awesome day.

What is that Roman looking building in the back ground?

It's actually a "Greek" looking building and is a full size replica of the Parthenon in Athens. It was originally built in 1897 for the Tennessee Centennial celebrating Tennessee's joining the Union in 1796. It comes complete with a 40' tall statue of Pallas Athena inside.

Today it serves as the Tennessee State Art Museum and the grounds are used for various purposes as shown here.
