I don't know if he does but his '71 is amazing, I'm trying to find a pic of it, it was in a thread a couple of days ago.

It is awesome... love the color and sounds great too. Always loved the sound of the Mopars; so much I slapped some hemi mufflers on my Chevelle back in the day.

In my opinion the 70 and 71 Challengers were one of the best looking muscle cars ever produced - I'll take that a step further and say they were on of the best looking American cars ever produced. I kinda like the new one - certainly a lot better car than the original, but of course it should be. But they just seem so bloated - so big, I just can't find the love for them.
The original body style also made for one of the best looking funny car too:

You guys are sentimental nuts :) Those old cars are pig-slow waddling clumsy engineering nightmares compared to today's cars. I don't mind looking at 'em and reminiscing, but don't try to sell me one as being just as good as the modern version!

With 40 years of technology over the original, I don't think anybody can argue that the old car is a better car than the new one. Just as the 1970 Dodge was an improvement over the 1930 Dodge. But of course that's not the point......
