We drove last year and had a really nice time. I'll have a house full of family coming Sunday evening for a few days so the drive is out this year.

Although it was nice to have the C5 there for auto-x and cruising.

Weather or some other US Air BS?

US Airways cancelled the flight out of Philly and told us the destination airport was porked. (Nashville)
We actually sat on the tarmac for an hour + before returning to the gate.

I offered to take a next morning flight out because they couldn't get me there before 9pm. They cancelled that flight as well but told me they
could get me in midnight tonight....

As usual, communication was poor and we all sat on hold for 30 minutes + with them before the gate agent attempted to re-route us.

I understand weather happens but the manner in which they "handle" their customers is really poor. I felt awful for the older folks on the plane that had no idea WTF was going on.
I took my iPad around to them and plugged in their flight numbers in the database to see if their connections were on time or cancelled.

When I lived in Harrisburg PA and flew every week it was almost always US Air. Cant tell you how many times they "stranded" me at Philly. Couple of times I just said screw it and got a rental car and drove home after having multiple flights cancelled and waiting hours

I've been working like a mad man on the theater. Got the rear platform framed and finished in oak.
Got the oak soffits installed last night. Just have to put the crown mouldings up to hold the rope lights.

Carpet guy has measured and our sample should arrive Monday. :hurray:
Fook that stuff is pricey....

Today we're building the columns.

Yes, it seems they have a serious handicap with their priority status at Philly.

Delta has been the best at getting me out of Philly on time. :yesnod:
They've screwed up baggage in the past and their service isn't the best, but they get the job done.
