Awesome vid. Graduated HS in 1985, trends were epic, vocabulary was gnarley and my Vans were bitchin'. I recall bunches of girls in my HS wearing wedge haircuts and saying "oh my gOd". I went for the Billy Idol 'spikey but soft' haircut myself. Seems to have caught on with big lesbians now. I still have a pair of Vans.

Same here. My last year of college, the Bears were invincible, and my Cubbies were in the Pennant. Won the first two games, then lost three straight in San Diego - that was back when there were only 4 teams in the playoffs and they were five game playoffs. Remember Ryne Sanburg?

The only time I ever bet on the Bears was a $20 bet I made with a college buddy for a certain Monday Night game. The undefeated Bears were playing some team named after a fish. :banghead:

The 80s...what a fun time. I was stationed at Clark AB, Philippines from Feb 85 to Feb 89. What a great time. I spent my time at work, the Chapel, or the library.
