Frat brothers say 19-year-old consumed 20 shots of tequila at party

An unconscious student was left in a hospital lobby with a Post-it note explaining to doctors his name, that he had apparently put back about 20 shots of tequila during a drinking competition and needed help.

The 19-year-old Arizona State University student was found early Saturday in a wheelchair in the emergency room lobby of St. Luke's Hospital, reports The Associated Press.

The student had passed out and started shaking and turning blue before his fraternity brothers dropped him at the hospital, police said.

The student, who has not been identified, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.47 percent, nearly six times the legal limit for driving.

He reportedly told police that he and his friends belonged to the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, but the drinking competition was not an official fraternity-sponsored event and only involved a few friends.

Police said it was not likely that the friends would face any criminal charges.

we tryed that once, back when i was in the service, freinds rented hotel suite,had big party. about half way thru this party some guy showed up, noone knew him. he came sat down and opened a new 5th of either run or vodka, dont remember. anyway he downed the whole bottle in less than 5 mins. passed out within 10-15 mins. we didnt do anything about it until time to cleanup. dude was dead, cops and hotel were not happy with us. ruined whole weekend.

I remember us leaving a chick from high school at an ER because she was that bad off. Nobody saw her outside of school for the rest of the year. Her parents dropped the ban hammer on any extra curicular activities.

During my 30th birthday celebration, I blew .37 on a certified Cobb county alco breathalyzer. This event occurred in Biloxi, MS and was completely incredible!! the officer administering the test was a close friend and stated, "I don't understand how you are standing and speaking coherently". My response, "did you see those boobs?" He immediately knew that I was ok, because the boobs were shown three hours earlier. :bud: He didn't see the boobs. :sadangel:
