Old Faithful, a wonder no doubt, Old Faithful Lodge and surrounding services.....big time tourist trap, outlandish prices, sucks those foreign tourists right in, including this supposedly wise person, yeah right. Never again. If you go, make it a daytime trip and stay in the town of West Yellowstone.

Some departing pictures of Yellowstone. Couldn't travel down the road to the Grand Tetons, road was closed, closest pic I could get was in Idaho.

Salt Lake City pictures, mostly of the Mormon Temple and surroundings. What a beautiful and clean downtown area, not even a cigarette butt on the ground.

Good pics of downtown SLC. Where did you park? They had many of the underground parking lots closed off and tiny, tiny little signs that you couldn't see until it was too late. We finally parked underground at City Creek Center after completing several laps.

On W 200 N & Main St, there was a 2 hour parking from 8am to 6pm. Got there around 5pm, had no problem finding a place. The Temple that has the choir was closed due to rehearsals, bummer.

That's the McCune Mansion, had my wedding reception there. It's no secret, I'm a Mormon and that temple reminds of a funny story. I was selling auto parts in Phoenix and one of my accounts was a big gruff guy that was always trying to get me to drink with him, I never did. He would go as far as have a beer waiting for me at the restaurant when we would meet for lunch.

Once a year he would load up his buddies in his motor home and go fishing in Canada. After once such trip he came back in just a couple days and called me. He said they were driving up I15 in SLC and saw that temple and raised their beers and toasted it in my honor. I can still remember his words. "I'm not messing with your anymore, we toasted that temple in your name and the motor home burned to the ground two miles later" He never offered to buy me a drink again
