...and it was to notify me that the ****er who slashed my tires at the grocery store last month has an arraignment date set for June 18th. I always thought the arraignment was done before you could post bail. Is that correct?

Now, I don't know this guy and none of my friends say they know him, so I don't know why he got my tires. I'm figuring it was because I parked in handicap and don't use the placard because i have the handicap tags.

He's being charged with vandalism, assault with a deadly weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. When the deputies were out there getting statements from the witnesses and me (he was found because they caught his tag number and a description of the vehicle along with a good description of him) I was informed that they know this guy really well as they have to pay him visits quite frequently.

Here's to hoping he's going to do some prison time and be forced to pay for the two new tires I had to buy, though I doubt I'll get any money out of this scumbag unless he files a tax return.

Perhaps he's being held withou bail because he's a parole vioator, Felon with a gun, or for some other reason.

If that's all he did was slash tires, I don't see an aggravated assault (felony) charge sticking. I could be wrong, but thought that was a crime against person, not property? :confused5:

Could there be an enhancement in the charge for the car being in a handicapped space?

here in FL just the charge of carrying concealed without a permit (yes, it was long blade) carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 265 days in the pokey. The deputy also told me it was felony assault because he used a deadly weapon to commit the crime. I'm not lawyer so we will see what the DA charges the dickhead with.

Again, i am no lawyer, but i will guess probably not.
